Need help finding NYC rap duo Mike & Glenn

Postby showandtellmusic » Mon Jul 28, 2014 11:33 am

Hello. Long shot request here from Oakland, CA. I am trying to track down the duo Mike & Glenn for an interview and am hoping someone here can help. They cut a single back in the mid 80's called "No" but only released a few test pressings. I think that's as far as they went as a group.

Here's the track cut up on Red Alert's show:

In the past week I was told that: "They were a trio called Three The Hard Way with Joe Ski Love before this record. When he started making noise with the Pee Wee record he dropped them....they never made it beyond these [test presses]. They didn't even come up with a name [and the track] was abandoned because the Rakim song came out and burned down the sample."

I'm writing in behalf of my friend Keith who was in local crew The Blind and Def Crew. This track was a big inspiration to theses guys. Here's their story.

We would appreciate ANY kind of lead to get in touch with these artists. I can pass on my email and phone # in a PM if you can help.

Thanks a lot.
