ramses wrote:Some of the cuts on the Fresh Mess Dub are from a Disney halloween record called Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House (including the wailing at the start, the UFO sounds, the female voice and the cats and dogs - but not the woodpecker!)

On a similar note, anyone know where the "The purpose of this record" cut on Techno Scratch is from?

Ramses,

I cant say I know about Techno Scratch but Im happy to have found the Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House on MP3. Thanks for the info...

Kinda Close to the topic
Famous Electro-beat sound on SS Force - Planet Rock is Moog Source Synth (at least thats what Arthur Baker told me)

The amazing intro to COD - In The Bottle was made by Man Parrish with a a Sequental Circuits Pro 1 Keyboard

2 of the dopest all time sounds in electro history and Aldo Marin at Cutting Records showed me which synth made the Hashim - Al nayyfish tune in their studio years ago but damned if Ive forgotten

That Niggers Crazy has been rinsed by a number of artists over the years, I remember MC Duke used a line to close 'Im Riffin' and Nice & Smooth at the end of 'Ooh Child' ...

I bought That Niggers Crazy and the Best Of Pryor during the late-80s which started a fascination with Laff Records.... Thanks Freddy

"We're gonna have to go to the other side of the table, come on" (Or whatever it is he says) in Dynamic Duo's Knights of the Turntables is from the film History of the World Pt 1
