No he meant the vocal snippet 'Turntable' thats already been answered as being from GMF's Girls Love the Way He Spins... however I didn't know that the basic stab throughout this and other jams was a sample from this 70's funk/disco jam so thanks for sharing this! Am learning all the time...

no sweat. that album has a couple of nice tracks - 'alternate groove' and 'sign of the times'.

Can anyone help me jog my memory?

I'm looking for the cut with the line "This is the beat y'all of the year"
I know I have it somewhere but for the life of me I can't remember which one it was (I know, I'm getting old ;-)

Anyway it's the one Aladdin cut up on Low Profile's "Keep em Flowing":

Thanks!

Can anyone help ID this intro [it was used for the intro to the Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito WKCR 20th Anniversary show]

Not Loran's Dance, just the vocal...

"Once again its that time of the day when the station gets truly funky
But right about now Ive got somethin special for ya
As I speak this radio station is taking over the airwaves
Follow for now and do not attempt to change the channel"

Any clues?

Thanks in advance

MC Sway & DJ King Tech -- Follow 4 Now (Extended Mix!)

Originally released on their "All City Records" imprint, later picked up by Giant/Warner.
